The 30L15 is a reissue of the ‘59 Custom Model, and utilizes the “turbo” tube Standel used in that era, the 7591 (often referred to as a mini EL34) – a rich, punchy sounding, hi-fi’ish tube – a magical combo when paired with the Standel sound.

The 30-watt 30L15 features 2 channels, Normal and Bright, and shared Treble and Bass controls, and 4 inputs. It runs in fixed-bias operation for more power, uses heavy-duty transformers and a filter choke to offer a high headroom, twangy Standel clean tone, with smooth clipping and Marshall’esque overdrive when pushed.

This is the big, bright, “wide open” tone one would expect from a Standel. A classic American sound that’s pedal ready for virtually any genre, and with its smooth highs and full midrange, it is the PERFECT amp for period steel guitar and big, twangy guitar tones.

Available as a 1×15” model with a JBL style Weber California Speaker for versatile cleans that covers all genres (except blues and metal!).

This Custom Line amplifier is appointed with all the premium features. Shown here in standard cabinet configuration cream/oxblood stripe and standard cabinet, with single aluminum band and chrome metal handle as standard. Lighted faceplate and Standel badge standard.
