Introducing the Standel ‘63 Germanium Preamp Pedal. Get the Standel sound from your existing amp with the hybrid preamp in a “box” – featuring the complete original Standel 82L15 preamplifier circuitry and tone stack, with 5 control knobs to tailor your sound: Input Level, Volume, Treble, Contour (Standel’s special midrange control), and Bass.
The Preamp Pedal can be used in multiple applications: as a dedicated pre-amp, as a device to add some warm germanium Standel sound to your setup, an EQ pedal, a clean boost, or a germanium overdrive when the levels are pushed.
Get glistening Buddy Emmons style steel leads, robust jazzy Wes style runs, shoegaze indie dreamy shimmer, and of course, classic country and rockabilly twang.
With level controls for input and output, you can mix in as much or little of the sound you want, to accommodate both mellow and hot instrument pickups to achieve the perfect blend and balance, no matter what the situation demands.
How to use: Plug in your guitar or pedal steel via traditional 1/4” instrument cable and use it in front of your favorite amp, or with a powered tone block/power amp, or info the effects loop of your amplifier.
Requires a standard 9v+ DC adapter (not included and sold separately).
